Community funded free media tools and infrastructure

I make tools and infrastructure for digital media, in many forms - though most visual - sometimes interactive. I have not been affiliated with any institution providing me with a salary during the last decade, though I have provided some consulting on projects that have interested me, and corporate customers have wanted developed - where the results have ended up being free for others to use and improve. I am now trying to fund my running expenses with community funding instead.
