Øyvind Kolås is a free-software developer and artist. A digital media content and media tool craftsman, exploring, creating and improving new technologies to be integrated in free and open infrastructures.
Longer bio
Øyvind Kolås has been exploring computer graphics since his early teens. He has been trained in fine art and multimedia. At college he became part of the academic staff two years after enrollment. He lectured computer programming, digital media technologies and image processing while participating in digital imaging and color science research. His passions include visual communication, interaction, personal freedoms of thought and experimentation, these are passions he pursue through both paid and spare time work.
